Career Crossroads

Thursday October 25th, 7:00 Pm, Chapel “Partnering with Recruiters”

There are many avenues available to you when conducting a career search. One of these paths that are often overlooked is the valuable service that employment recruiters provide. Employment recruiters have a keen sense of the local employment marketplace as a result of their relationship with local businesses. They work with employers on a continuing basis to provide qualified candidates for temporary, contract and permanent positions. If you are in career transition, it is in your best interest to understand the services that recruiters provide and how to best position yourself with them.

Lisa Verzella with Monarch Staffing is a seasoned professional recruiter. She has over 10 years’ experience placing candidates in many varied positions and industries. Her experience has allowed her to understand what employers are looking for in new hires and how you can present the best image to potential employers. Lisa currently serves as President of the Delco Society of Human Resource Managers and is a member of the steering committee of Joseph’s People Central Delco. Please join us to understand the current employment picture and how to best partner with Lisa and her colleagues.

Children through 6th grade and their families are invited to join us for our annual Trunk or Treat event in Providence Park (corner of Providence Road and Clifton Ave. in Aldan, PA). Night of Worship

On Friday, November 2nd, we have an opportunity to come face-to-face with two attributes of God - His creativity and faithfulness to us - and to respond in worship. We invite everyone to worship through song, Scripture, prayer, and a creative activity that all ages can participate in. We especially invite families to this gathering as an opportunity for parents to teach and model the importance of worship to their children (Psalm 78:1-8).

Some logistical notes:

  • We will begin at 7:00 pm

  • Nursery will be provided for children up to age 5

  • Light refreshments will be served while we fellowship with and encourage one another

Hope to see you there!!
